Congratulations to Dr. Owen Lee and co-authors for their recent publication in ACS-Macro letters! The paper shows that orthogonal thiol-allyl coupling (a highly underrated coupling reaction) can be an efficient means of connecting macromers with tunable dynamic boronic ester crosslinks. Congratulations to Ally Cunningham, Gwen Wilusz, and co-authors on their new publication in JACS! This work shows plausible recycling of PMMA and PS, two commonly used polymers, through the capture of reactive species formed under mechanical force.
